Fun and Games on an intro course

We are running our winter 2017 pool sessions again this year.
These are held in Plympton Swimming Pool. These can be used for all wet skills, to build your confidence within a one to one situation. As with other club sessions these are open to all members over the age of 10.

All Sessions will be running Saturdays 4pm - 5pm. It is recommended you get there 30 minutes before to get your boat unloaded and yourself changed ready to get in the water at 4pm.

Kit you will need.
Boat, Paddle, Spray Deck, Helmet (under 18s compulsory over is optional), Goggles optional. Swimming Costume Towel etc.

Club boats are available to use for these sessions but you need to book them through the equipment officer and arrange collection and transportation yourself.

It is very important that all boats being used in the pool have had the airbags let down / removed and boats thoroughly rinsed out before reinflating. All boats must be clean and free from mud grit sand and leaves etc.

This year we are taking all bookings for the pool sessions via the website. Due to space availability in the pool we are limited to a maximum of 10 General Purpose Kayaks up to 3.0 meters long. Longer boats such as Day Touring or Sea Kayaks are allowed but will be charged at the equivalent of 2 places.

Kayaks up to 3.0 meters 11 per session
Kayaks 3.0 5.2 meters maximum 22 per session.

The pool sessions are for the members of the club . First come first served basis. But if spaces are unfilled after 6 pm on each Thursday prior to the session. We shall offer them to non members.
