Pool Sessions cost £11 for General Purpose boats up to 3.0m long any boat longer will have to purchase a sea kayak place for £22 (equivilent to two places) due to available space in the pool.

Disability/Medical Conditions:* Please provide details of any disability or medical conditions your child may have such as Epilepsy, Fainting, Diabetes, Autisum etc. These details will be used to ensure paddling is safe and only shared with the nessisary people such as club leader and the coach/helper who is taking the sessions. If none please enter NONE

Pool session kit requirements

All boats used in the pool need to be rinsed thoroughly and free from mud, sand, leaves etc. All boats need to have air bags inflated in the rear of the boat where applicable. PFD (Buoyancy Aids are optional). Helmets for under 18s are compulsory but over 18s optional.

Club boats are available to be used but you need to contact us to arrange collecting the boat yourself or organise a kind helper bringing a kayak for you. Please indicate below if you have your own boat (or a rented club boat at home) or you require us to help you get a club boat to the pool session

PPCA Terms and Conditions


By signing the Port of Plymouth Canoeing Association (PPCA) application form I agree to information being held by the PPCA and used for PPCA administration and may be used to collect feedback and keep me informed of future PPCA activities. The PPCA will not share your details with third parties without your permission.
Canoeing and kayaking are assumed risk water contact sports that may carry attendant risks. Participants should be aware of and understand these risks. I agree my child will comply with the Port of Plymouth Canoeing Association (PPCA) club operating policy and will not hold the PPCA or its coaches or any PPCA members liable for any missed sessions, personal injury, loss or damage to clothing or equipment.

Photography: Any Photos taken on club trips or sessions may be used for PPCA publicity including on the website or posters. If you do not agree to any images of either yourself or your child being used please let the club chairperson know in writing.
