A course tailored for children aged 8 - 11

Fun and Games on an intro course

Paddlepower is great fun for the younger paddler and a good introduction to paddlesport. We mix teaching some skills with games to push them and their newly learnt techniques.

During the course we will teach the youths the same skills as are in our One Star course but in a fun way aimed to keep young minds interested!

Although this course will be mainly in kayaks we will also use canoes as well. Through fun and games we will build on strokes etc to acheive the required standard to pass by the end of the 6 weeks.

Due to the weight of the boats and kit, we ask parents to help at the start and end of sessions with the carrying equipment to and from the water and accessing and storing equipment.

Our Paddle Power course this year will be held over 6 Monday nights 6pm until 8pm from May 8th until June 19th
(We are not running a session Monday 29th May due to Half Term and it being a Bank holiday).
Please arrive at least 20 minutes before so its possible to give time for the children to changed and for us to get them sorted with kit and on the water for 6pm.

Due to weather conditions or other unforseen reasons beyond our control, we may have to cancel a session so we have also allowed an extra Monday 26th June as a reserved week to cover for this.

Our Paddle Power course cost just 50.00 per Child.
